It was one of the great days of my life when I had an opportunity to volunteer during the launching ceremony of UN Women's HeForShe campaign for gender equality in September last year... I was the man – number 84, to take the commitment to be a HeForShe after United Nations Secretary General Mr. Ban Ki-moon became the first signatory of this campaign.


A woman came to me. She looked old. She asked me to check her BISP Card. The bank representative said, 'There is no money in this account.'

The moment she came to know this, there was darkness in her eyes. She wants to educate her kid... I did what I could do but that was nothing as compared to the list of troubles she faces.


How to describe a young person full of energy, social activist, trainer, a person who is always ready to help? Sometimes we don’t find words to describe such beautiful young souls...
