Chididi is a small, rural mountain community in southern Malawi. Most of the population of Chididi are subsistence farmers. The women mostly have no paid work. Many women are single mothers and widows, some with HIV/AIDS.... .
In the semi-desert environment of Kaabong, it is a constant struggle to keep fruit trees alive and productive. But fruit is much-needed in this isolated region...
One year after devastating floods wreaked havoc on Pakistan, another one struck. Winter has started. Vulnerable groups like children, women, disabled, and older persons are in urgent need of shelter, sanitation, clean water, and food.
