
Through Teachers Training, Teachers are taught:
Preventive is better than Curative, the other component of the project is raising consciousness about Health Education among community. Most of the diseases are the cause of inattention of personal hygiene. In this regard Sewa appointed 06 Rural Health Promoters (RHP) in 06 different villages of nearest the Health Centre, the RHPS are trained through the Training workshops of Primary Health Care and Health Education. SDTS also published the learning leaflet / brochures, Training workshop reports and a Training Manual on Health Education for Rural Health Promoters, Health workers, Community workers and Health Practitioners. The RHP keeps the linkages between women of the area and keeps their record especially pregnant women’s. Responsibilities of RHPs’ were: v To provide Health Education v To form / constitute women group. v To keep the record of Mother Growth Oral dehydration, Breast Feeding, Immunization
Sewa established a Vocational Training Centre for Women at Muhalla Nizamani Khairpur to built Skill & Professional Training in the women. 250 women have been trained and 30 trainees are getting training of sewing, stitching and Embroidery work on machines and Hand. Every six months new badge for training admitted for further next six months training.

SDTS works in the Sindh province of Pakistan which is located close to the Arabian Sea, and its main fresh water source is the Indus River. The region has recently experienced the worst floods in its history, with heavy rainfall and flash floods.
