Pankh was established on the 30th October 2010.
Pankh is based in Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh, and the biggest state in India in terms of population.
With its rich heritage of the British culture and Mughal cuisine, tradition, and architecture, it is a beautiful city with a great cultural legacy and heritage.
But as with every other beautiful place, it has got its dark spots, too.
Poverty, poor immigrant women who are making great efforts day in and out to make ends meet, and women who suffer great domestic injustices are a fact of life.
The seat of high judiciary is in Lucknow. And the number of legal hassles that women face on account of the lack of awareness and resources is immense.
The fact of their coming to the legal seat means that they are facing heavy oppression within their homes.
Operating currently in all of Uttar Pradesh (India), Pankh seeks to expand its area of reach and diversify its activities.
Pankh was founded by Sheeba Rakesh.
We have a team of experts backing us strongly from almost all the areas that need to be explored for the benefit of women.
Pankh has been blessed to have received the support of medical experts, educationists, legal experts, counsellors and the much required media support to date.
Operating currently in all of Uttar Pradesh (India), Pankh seeks to expand its area of reach and diversify its activities.
