English Class for Women in Kabul

Young Women for Change (YWC) is starting an English class for women, offered from 3:00-4:00pm, Saturday to Wednesday. It starts on February 15th or 25th of Dalw 1390, and is taught by Arezu Omaid.

This program is launched to increase literacy in Afghanistan and support an Afghan teacher. Every student will have to pay a fee of 250 Afs per month. Call us to register your family members or friends for the class: 0793358677.

Arezu Omaid

Arezu Omaid, a member of Young Women for Change, has received the medal for the best female biker of Afghanistan. In addition to biking, she teaches English in a language center, works as a volunteer for YWC and helps other female athletes connect to the sports clubs. She also writes poetry. Arezu knows several languages including Pashto, Dari, English and Urdu. Arezu is an example of the commitment, perseverance and hard-work that YWC cherishes and inspires youth to exercise.
