First Lady of Uganda Visits AWARE Uganda in Kaabong

On the 2nd February 2012, the First Lady of Uganda - Janet Museveni - visited AWARE women's centre in Kaabong.

The First Lady - who is also the Minister of Karamoja Affairs - officially opened our new Maternity Waiting House in Kaabong and promised free education for all children going to Kaabong Senior Secondary School.

She was also shown some of the AWARE projects supported by Hauirou Commission, PACE, Global Human Rights, Water Earth Alliance, German Embassy, Reproductive Health Uganda (RHU), Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF),
