While business isn't my area of expertise, we managed to come up with ideas.. the flower group chose to contact landscapers, the sewing group to make school uniforms, and my personal favourite from Blessings: cooking their produce and introducing 'rolexes' to Kenya!

Julia, a young woman with disability, lives in a slum with her two young children in a house of 10 square feet of corrugated iron sheets... Through selling boiled eggs, she is able to buy food for her children. This is but an example of how a small donation or loan can empower one woman.

I've met women's groups, flower growers, and a disabled group so far - and each time I am astounded by how much they do for each other... they scrape together what little they have as individuals, put it together, and work as hard as they can to make things better for the whole group...
