Volunteer Opportunities

The Safeworld International Foundation is run from our virtual office.

Our work is multi-focused. We campaign against the abuse of women and children, advocate for the oppressed, and partner with regional organisations working at the grassroots.

Our work is expanding rapidly and we have many opportunities to volunteer with Safe World.

Communication

As a volunteer you will join one of our teams of dynamic, dedicated volunteers - contributing your skills and experience.

Whatever your role, you will need to enjoy working within a global, multicultural team of dedicated women and men.

You will need to be a good communicator and very familiar with the internet. Our work is almost entirely online and our volunteers need to check in regularly so that we can successfully coordinate the work.

Commitment

Our work is ever-growing and there are many ways in which you can help - from spreading the word, to helping with research, news-gathering, grant applications and administration.

We are all volunteers with varying amounts of time available, so we understand the challenges of volunteering. 

If you are passionate about our work and have 2 hours a week or more to spare, we'd love to hear from you!

And of course you need to be committed to sharing our vision, mission and ethos!

Current Vacancies

Administration Team

General online administration tasks and record-keeping.

Grants Team

Identifying potential funding sources and writing grant proposals.

News Team Coordinator

Assisting our growing organisation by being involved in setting-up a News Team

Research and Translation team

Sourcing news articles, researching background information and collating lists of women's organisations.

Tech Intern (online)

Updating the Safe World website and operating our Joomla CMS.
