At the UNISON conference, Debbie Hollingsworth proposed that this year's collection should go to Compassion CBO, who she had visited. Out of several nominees, Compassion CBO was selected. Ebola report

The kids in George Brook are learning in their new school building, which just needs finishing touches... Our kids in Kroo Bay are also learning, but in very poor conditions. The Ebola crisis of the last 12 months affected our finances on two fronts...

Ndumberi Graduation

One of the members of Kagongo Women’s Group knew that poultry farming was what she wanted to do, but didn’t know where to start. She is now raising indigenous chickens for their eggs, having looked for and discovered a gap in the market...

Dancing to end FGM

There was a lot of singing and dancing and we discussed FGM... The girls all get T-shirts when they ‘graduate’ from the programme but there was one girl without the lime green apparel. I later discovered that she hadn’t been reached in time...
