What We Do

Project Women Inspired

This is a project that aims at promoting women in social entrepreneurship in prisons. The focus is to promote productivity amongst women, youth, and children in two prisons in Cameroon. This project inspires solidarity and hope for prisoners to contribute positively in the society upon their release.

16 days of Activism in Collaboration with the Global Young Greens Gender Working Group

For this year's celebration of the 16 days of activism, VOW is collaborating with the Global Young Green Gender Working Group for a global campaign to stop violence against women.

Fako Week of Action for Girls

This is a campaign to educate girls in some primary/secondary schools in Cameroon about the importance of the International Day of the Girl. It is also an opportunity to discuss about Malala and the contribution that she has made for girls in her country and also girls in other parts of the world.

It will also be an opportunity to talk about other brave girls and inspire them to tell us about their own dreams and aspirations.

Video for the Girls Speak Out Campaign for the UN

During this year's International Day of the Girl, VOW has been asked by the Working Group on Girls to make a video that will be presented at the UN headquarters as part of the girls' speak out project.
