Following an intensive selection process, Compassion CBO has been awarded a grant by AmplifyChange to run Anti-FGM Hotlines in Kenya.

Tiffany Williams is the coordinator of the Beyond Survival campaign of the National Domestic Workers Alliance, which works to build survivor leadership and awareness of human trafficking of domestic workers in the United States and around the world.

Member of the Alliance for a Safe World, Blue Veins, organised a conference in Peshawar to campaign for the inclusion of women in elections on May 30th. In a recent by-election an estimated 48,000 women were excluded from voting.


3rd May - Samida Women Development Forum delivered supplies to Safalta Shichya Sadan - a home for orphaned children who are HIV positive. We are now focusing all our resources on four VDCs of Sanobanthali, Kavrepalanchow, where help hasn't yet reached.


30th April: First young team will be dispatched to Sano Bangthali, Kavre - where more than 1000 people have been displaced - with medicine, generator, sanitary product, tents and food materials... 1st May: Today we contributed tents and dry foods to Ramkot Fasku...


Rural Womens Network Nepal, based in Kathmandu, and Association for Living Values Education Nepal have jointly set up a relief fund to support the earthquake victims for medical treatment, food, clean water, hygiene products, fuel and shelter.
