"I am interested in media and social matters, but with a passion for community development, I am the blessed with two wonderful children, who inspire all I do.

Being disillusioned with the current 'top-down' approach of development in our country, which excludes so many, I founded 'Operation: Rooigrond' and co-ordinate its projects, which are all aimed at empowering and educating people so they can 'help themselves', break the cycle of poverty and the consequences thereof.

I am a firm believer that any and all suffering and injustice affect us all, whether or not we choose to acknowledge this, but that each one of us can do something to change it and make the world a better place for all."
