Navid Mohebbi, 18-year-old blogger and women's rights advocate, was released from Sari prison in Iran on Christmas Day 2010.

Navid Mohebbi, a teenage women's rights advocate, was held in solitary confinement in Iran. Safe World led efforts on Change.org to pressure senior UN Human rights officials to advocate for his release. Navid was released on Christmas Day 2010
Sarah Shourd
Sarah Shourd was held in solitary confinement in Iran from July 2009 to September 2010. Safe World took up her case in March 2010.
Sarah, Shane & Josh
Sarah was imprisoned along with her friends Shane Bauer and Josh Fattal, who were released in September 2011. Safe World organised a media tour for Sarah in London in June 2011, to campaign for their release.
