I'm an American/Pakistani freelance journalist interested in children's issues. I've completed a masters in international journalism with a concentration on humanitarian reporting.
In Beirut, I spent a month reporting on the lack of safe spaces for unprivileged children in Lebanon and have done field research in Pakistan about children with disabilities.
I've worked with children for almost five years with qualifications in early childhood development and child mental health. I'm currently the associate digital editor for the International Rescue Committee based in NYC.
