The Safeworld Student Writers Project gives university students a chance to be published online and to have their work recognised by leading women’s rights activists and organisations throughout the world.
The project helps to give students a voice and provides an insight into the views of students from different backgrounds and cultures.
The Student Writers Project encourages students to become involved in global issues, develop first-hand knowledge and experience of writing for online media, and a broad knowledge of women’s advocacy-related issues.
The project is particularly suited to student journalists, and students of subjects such as social sciences, gender studies, law etc, who have a talent for writing.
Safeworld Student Writers are provided with a brief for requested articles and given advice and feedback from our editorial team.
We welcome individual applications from university students around the world and partnership enquiries from universities.
